This is an homage to the culture of "Monster Kids" in the 1950's and 60's. Basically they were the kids who saved all of their allowance to go see the new, low-budget horror and sci-fi flicks, bought all of the monster mags, like Famous Monsters of Filmland, and many of them went on to make their own films and to become special effects artists. I think I am one of these kids, just in a different decade. So, there you have it. I am pretty happy with the turnout.

Excellent, I know what you mean about
being a "Monster Kid". No matter what else I get into, old school horror and sci-fi is always there for me.
